The more physical memory your VPS has, the more apps you'll be able to run concurrently. Some apps require lots of RAM even if nothing else is running on the hosting server, even though they may not require high Central processing unit speeds or loads of disk space. If your server runs out of memory, it will stop responding and the websites and the offline applications which you host on it won't work adequately, as their software components will not load since there won't be any free memory. In this light, we offer a RAM upgrade for our Virtual private server packages, thus if you discover that your hosting server is close to the limit, you could take advantage of this upgrade without upgrading the whole plan and paying for resources that you won't use. That way, you can ensure the proper operation of your scripts and stop stressing that your visitors shall see errors or won't be able to open your sites at all.

Additional RAM in VPS Servers

You shall be able to add more RAM to your VPS servers irrespective of the plan you have selected, even if it's a high-end one. The upgrade comes in increments of 128 MB, so you'll be able to include as much RAM as you need at any given time, taking advantage of the flexibility of our system. The amount of memory which you order will be assigned to your existing virtual web server, so you will not need to carry out anything on your end. You shall not detect any downtime on your websites, because the VPS shall not be shut down or restarted for the additional memory to be assigned to it. The upgrade could be ordered either during the signup process - in case you know in advance that you shall need it, or later using the billing area - if you need it after you have begun using the web server. In either case, adding more physical memory takes only a couple of mouse clicks and because all VPS accounts are created on powerful servers, there will always be loads of free memory to make certain that any one of the virtual hosting servers can be upgraded as much as needed at any given time.
